Hi, I'm Lauren.

I knew from a very young age that I wanted to help others. I tried several things, but when I found massage, I knew that it was my life mission. I care deeply for all of my clients and I love to see them happy and without pain and love to watch their transformation as their muscles uncurl and release years of pent up stress and tension. I'm also a big nerd and I like to educate my clients, to help them get to know things about their bodies they may not have realized. When someone comes in with a particular issue, I often feel like a detective on a mission to understand and work on the problem until they feel better. 

My story so far:

I discovered my passion for helping others at a young age and that passion led me to pursue a license in esthetics. I attended the Aveda Instutute in 2009, studying Ayurvedic Esthetics, a more rounded mind-body-spirit approach to skin care and beauty. After 2 years in the field, I decided to expand my scope of practice and went back to school for massage therapy at Texas School of Massage in 2011. Being a dual licensed therapist has helped me to expand my practice, allowing me to have a more rounded approach. 

I was an intern at Gritman Essential Oils in Friendswood, TX from 2012 - 2016 and I learned a great deal about Essential oils and their broad scope of uses, and took courses for spiritual aromatherapy from Meg - a wonderful teacher and mentor.

I worked with Ken Newby at Relatation Retreat in Webster, Texas from 2012 - 2014, learning all I could from his broad depth of knowledge. I took many classes from him, and even assisted with a few.

At the end of 2014, I met the love of my life and started a crazy adventure. I decided to take a leap of faith and branch out on my own. It was at that point that BodyWork fusion was born. My studio in clear lake flourished!

I wanted again to expand my knowledge base so I could better help my clients. I attended the Energy Healing Institute from 2016 - 2017, going through the practitioner program, and learned to help people spiritually, with their energy bodies as well as their physical bodies. I love doing intuitive energy work with people and the life changing evolution that can result.

I moved my studio at the end of 2020, when my husband and I were able to realize our dream of owning our own home. Here, in Highlands TX, I have a lovely, tree lined acre of property, where my massage studio sits looking out on all that natural beauty.
